PES Family Counseling Center in Aguascalientes

At the 2010 annual banquet, we presented the Christian family counseling center being built in Aguascalientes, Mexico - This outreach was started by Pastor Vito Cruz and. has proven to be an extremely effective tool to reach people at their time of deepest despair and need.  These are people desperate for answers that would never enter a church.  .(photos on facebook) . A Student’s Call to Ministry

While at the convention, Javier, from one of the nearby churches in Pachuca, told me of his call to ministry.  He has been accepted at our seminary (CETyM) to start this August.  Since studying full-time requires much dedication and leaves little time for employment, he has asked about scholarships. He has a wife and family to support.   Javier is just one of many students who also have legitimate needs and for which training to serve the Lord has meant great sacrifice.  If you would like to help students at the seminary prepare for ministry, we have established a student scholarship fund to which you may contribute.

Some of the new churches that the Ahuateno church started (see August Newsletter to learn more) are a great distance from the mother church.  Currently there are five bi-vocational national missionaries helping these missions.  The board of the conference of churches and the Ahuateno church would like to have a full-time national missionary to serve these missions.  They have asked EMM to raise about $400 per month to cover the transportation costs to the various locations.  The churches will pay his salary.  Could you help with this need?
